This thesis resisted using representative and production technologies as a starting point, instead focusing on analog making to incorporate uniqueness and ‘imperfections’ into the work.

Embracing the idea of natural visual inconsistencies as a desirable material quality, the carved wood pattern composition leans into the irregularity and uniqueness of each panel.
