Pearlescent Paper
Just like an iridescent bug hiding in the foliage, the Surface LA camouflages as something it is not - a volume containing cube while in actuality it is a simple two dimensional surface. It does so in order to blend in into our everyday environment consisting of various three dimensional objects. This project leans into its surface materiality allowing it to corrupt viewer's perception through shimmer and colour.
